Foundations & Footings

Every structural concrete story starts underground. For 25 years we’ve formed and poured foundation walls and footings that stay square, dry and true — and it’s exactly why builders trust us with the walls above grade too.

Foundations, Done Right

What “right” looks like

Foundation problems are the most expensive problems a house ever has. So we build foundations the slow-and-careful way: proper subgrade and drainage, code-quality materials, straight forms, and enough concrete and rebar where it matters.

  • Footings — excavated, formed and poured to level with the rebar tying the wall in
  • Foundation walls — conventional formed pours, straight and plumb, cured before backfill
  • Drainage first — weeping tile, stone and proper grading behind every wall
  • Waterproofing options — membrane and drainage board applied by our partners on schedule
  • Commercial too — low-rise commercial and industrial foundations across the GTA
Foundation Choices

Conventional formed or ICF? Both, properly.

We’re rare in that we pour both systems with the same crew standard. Here’s how to think about the choice.

Conventional formed foundation

The proven workhorse — formed with our own panels, poured in one or two lifts, then waterproofed and drained. Cost-effective and familiar to every engineer.

ICF foundation

The same wall now also insulates: foam stays on both faces, so the basement is warmer, quieter and drier-feeling — with simpler detailing at the floor slab edge.

Why It Matters

The cost of a bad foundation

Cracks & water

Inferior mixes, rushed curing and skipped drainage invite cracking and seepage — the single most common call we get from homeowners years later.

Settling & level

An unlevel footing becomes an unlevel house. We pour to laser-checked level and let concrete cure before load.

Retrofit pain

Fixing a foundation after the fact costs multiples of doing it right the first time. Do it once, do it right — that’s the 25-year lesson.
