Concrete Decks — Elevated & Ground

The deck that never rots. Poured concrete decks over walk-outs, on grade, or as outdoor rooms — engineered slabs where they’re elevated, finished your way, and built by the crew that also pours your foundation.

Why Concrete

Wood fades. Concrete stays.

Twenty years from now your neighbours are replacing deck boards; your concrete deck will still be exactly where we poured it — no warping, no rot, no annual staining, and very little maintenance beyond a wash.

  • Elevated decks over walk-outs — engineered in-place slabs (a suspended-slab project, done by specialists)
  • Ground-level decks — insulated, thickened-edge slabs for outdoor rooms, hot tubs, fire pits
  • Finishes to match your home — broom, exposed aggregate, stamped or tile-ready
  • Quiet and cool underneath — insulated below, ventilated per code, no critter nesting
Types

Which concrete deck is yours?

02

Ground Deck & Patio Deck

A proper structural ground slab for an outdoor kitchen, hot-tub pad, pool surround or covered porch — with thickened edges and sub-slab insulation.

03

Rooftop / Balcony Decks

Low-rise roof decks and balconies where the deck is the weather surface — falls, waterproofing and flashing coordinated with membrane specialists.

Finish Options

Your deck, finished your way

  • Broom finish — classic, safe underfoot, low maintenance
  • Exposed aggregate — decorative stone exposed for grip and elegance
  • Colour-stamped — stone, slate or custom patterns in colour
  • Smooth / tile-ready — flat and true for outdoor tile or pavers on pedestals

Coordinated partners, one contract

Railings and glass, waterproofing membranes, and outdoor lighting — we coordinate trusted local partners so you deal with one contractor and one schedule.

Process

What an elevated deck install involves

  1. Site & structure review

We assess the wall, ledger and support conditions with an engineer where required.

  2. Form & shore

Conventional forms and engineered shoring take shape beneath your future deck.

  3. Reinforce & pour

Rebar, drainage falls, embeds — then a pumped, vibrated, finished pour.

  4. Cure, strip, enjoy

Slab cures on schedule, shoring comes down, railings go up — done.
